My name is Giulia and I am studying Digital Art at the ENSAAMA – Paris.
I did my Licence on Plastical Art at l’Ecole des Arts de La Sorbonne, and now I am in my first year to get a Diplôme Supérieur d’Art Appliqué.
I always loved drawing, and since middle school I wanted to do 2D animation. I took evening courses at Ateliers des Beaux Arts and learned 3D with tutorials during my gap year between my Licence and Master.
After this, I fell in love with the endless possibilities of video games. As I love learning new things, it felt perfect to blend my interests, and opened even bigger doors.
In my works, I mainly draw narrative illustrations, character designs, and combine 2D and 3D with pictures, augmented reality and virtual reality. I am a mixed-media works enthusiast !

I like to illustrate moods and emotions with narrative scenes, which people can relate to or interpret. Digital illustration is my favorite tool, as I enjoy post production work.
I took 2D animation courses at Ateliers des Beaux Arts de Paris, where I learned traditionnal techniques. I often do small gifs of characters on my own, with textured brushes.
Here is a work in progress of a 2D animation loop I did at Ateliers des Beaux Arts. It is made with color pencils on paper. It shows a girl trying to catch a butterfly.
« Terreur Nocturne » is an old animation project I did in highschool using Clip Studio. It represents a nightmare, where I asked my classmates what they were afraid of.
